Description
English: Dipping Pond Redisher Woods A corn mill, a cotton mill and

Redisher bleachworks were using water from Holcombe Brook around 1893 in Redisher Wood. The lodges and ponds were created for the Redisher bleach works owned by the Ainsworth family.

A remnant of the works can be seen in this dipping pond used by schools and provided by Bury Council
