English: Corporal Daniel Posada, a motor transport operator for Marine Operational Test and Evaluation Squadron 22, and a native of McAllen, Texas, participated in transporting diplomats, military leaders and distinguished guests from Trinidad and Tobago to the future amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) July 25, 2014, for a formal tour of the ship. The tour showcased the humanitarian and disaster relief capabilities that the Marines and Sailors bring to the ship. Ships like America are what provide the Navy-Marine Corps team the ability to be the right force, in the right place at the right time. The ship is scheduled to be commission Oct. 11 in San Francisco. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Christopher J. Moore/Released) |
