THIS IS A CERTIFICATE OF HONOR FOR A GOLD MEDAL THAT ACCOMPANIED THE CERTIFICATE GIVEN AT THE ATLANTA, GEORGIA EXPOSITION OF 1895. THE RECIPIENT WAS ULPIANO CHECA FOR AN OIL PAINTING OF A ROMAN NAVAL COMBAT.
