Mrs. Georjge Shawyer (Tea Rose)—This is one of the newer varieties introduced by the growers of Lady Hillingdon. We have not seen a Rose that has met with such universal appreciation by both the amateur and professional grower, and has won awards in almost every place shown since it was introduced, both in this country and Europe. The color is one very hard to describe, being a shade of brilliant clear rose or bright peach-pink. It is a wonderful grower and bloomer, producing great numbers of strong shoots, each shoot tipped with a bud. These shoots form the stem, from 3 to 4 feet in length. The flowers are very large, well formed and full, petals of good sub- stance. A very fine garden Rose, as well as a forcing Rose. Price, of strong pot-grown plants, 25c each; two-year-old plants, 50c each. The stock is grown on own roots. OLD GOLD—(Hybrid Tea.) In bud form this Rose appeals to every- I one on account of its wonderful color, which is entirely distinct from and not found in any other Rose, a vivid orange-red, with coppery-red and apricot shadings, opening bright salmon, and which is further set off by the healthy, glossy, bronze-green foliage; delightfully fragrant; a grower and very free-flowering. A great bedder. Awarded gold medal Rose Society of England. Price, first size plants, 25c each, postpaid; two-year-old plants, 60c each, by express. All on own roots. FLORENCE FORRESTER_c)ear snow-white with a lemon tinge; as the flowers age they become a pure white, the blooms are even larger than Paul Neyron. Its habit is absolutely perfect, and the freedom with which it flowers is marvelous. We consider this Rose the grandest of all whites for bedding. For size and sub- stance has no equal among Hybrid Teas. Is very sweetly perfumed. Beautiful long pointed buds on tall stiff stems. An excellent Rose for cutting. Gold medal, National Rose Society. Price, first size plants, 25c each, postpaid; two-year-old plants, 60c each, by express. All on own roots.
