Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Thin film effect of diesel fuel spreading on wet road asphalt. White light is partly reflected and partly refracted by the air-fuel and the same by the fuel-water surface. For a given film thickness only some wavelenght emerge in phase and we can see the color. The film thins from the center so we can see arcs of different colors. (w:en:Thin-film_interference)
