EBERTH. einander entfernt. Der Musculus Rhabdosphincter urogenitalis umschließtdie Cowperschen Drüsen. Ein kleiner Teil der Drüsen liegt in der vorderen Cirkumferenzdes Bulbus uretbrae. Wassilieff und Henle erwähnen schon dasVorkommen der Drüsen im cavernösen Gewebe. Die letzten Ausläufer der Cowperschen Drüsen liegen in den Mm.urethro-transversales und nur ganz ausnahmsweise enthalten die letzterenallein die Drüsen, wenn der Sphincter urogen. keine besitzt (Kalischer). Der Ausführungsgang dieser Drüse, etwa von der Dicke einerStecknadel, verläuft zwischen der olleren Wand des Bulbus und derunteren Wand der Pars membranacea und bulbosa urethrae erst eine5 mm lange Strecke nach vorn, dann ebensolang im Corpus cavernosumbulbi.
