Benth., Tropen- kosmopolit; V. hrachycarpa Kurz und V. dolicJioides Bak. in Vorderindien, letztere auch auf Java. Bei V. vexillata (L.) Benth. besitzt das rechte Blättchen des Schiffchens eine nach außen gerichtete, sackartige Ausstülpung; Vergl. auch S. 378 unter Physosligma.
