IX. Lepra, Tuberkulose, Syphilis des Auges. Lepra des Auges. Bei der außerordentlich häufigen Lokalisation der Lepra in den Lidern, wie auch in den Geweben des Auges rinden sich dieselben charakteristischen Bilder bezüglich des Verhaltens der Leprabazillen, wie dies auch anderweitig festgestellt ist. Das bekannte Werk von Lyder-Borthen (Leipzig, W. Engelmann, 1899) enthält eine eingehende Darstellung der pathologischen Anatomie von Lie, in welcher auch die Verbreitung und der Nachweis der Leprabazillen am Auge erörtert wird. Weiter sind hierfür besonders zu erwähnen die Arbeiten von Jeanselme-Morax (Des manifestations oculaires de la lepre, Annales docul. CXX, 1898, p. 312), von Francke-Delbanco (Archiv f. Ophth. L, 1900, S. 380), von Ulenhuth und Westphal (Zentralbl. f. Bakt. 1901, XXIX, S. 233) und von Meller (Keratitis punctata leprosa. Klin. Monatsbl. f. Augenh., 1905, XLIII, S. 16). Nach diesen Darstellun- gen und nach eigenen Präparaten hebe ich hier folgendes kurz hervor. Bei der tuberösen Form rinden sich bekannt- lich schon in frühen Sta- dien massenhaft Bazillen. Die Prädilektion der Au- genbrauen für den Beginn sowohl der Knötchen, wie der leprösen Flecke führt dazu, daß gerade hier oft eine Probeexzision ausge- führt wird. Bei der tube- rösen Form ist die Dia- Abb. 75. Leprabazilleni). Leprazellen. gnose schon durch einen Einschnitt in die infiltrierte Haut und Untersuchung des herausgepreßten Saftes auf Leprabazillen zu stellen. (Die Färbung cf. S. 16.)
