Description
English: Dickens Square Park, Southwark The park, off Falmouth Road, stands on the site of Dickens Square that was destroyed by a V1 "flying bomb" on 13 July 1944. According to the Southwark Council website, the park is a "site of local importance for nature conservation: some 11 species of bird have been spotted, including the breeding blackcap and green woodpecker."
