The temple was commissioned in 1955 by Divya dev Pant. When Jagadaru ShanKaracharya came to Madhyapur Thimi from India, he did not offer sacrifices in this Divyeshwari temple while giving a discourse in this temple. There is a belief that worshiping this goddess will fulfill one's desires. |
