Description
English: Everybody knows what is associated with "Columbus 1492"

Who knows what is associated with "Dias 1488" ?

Clue - the statue in this picture is Bartholomew Dias, underneath the window below him a "Springbok" is carved into the stone.

2nd Clue - this may be found on a building off Trafalgar Square called "South Africa House".

Yup - four years before America was "found".
