Description

"Saturday Nothing happened last night. It's too quiet around here. No air raids or anything. General McArthur was here today. I guess he wants to see if its safe to bring his precious Army in here. We had steak for supper tonight. I haven't had a piece of bread now for 13 days. I wrote some letters home today.

Sunday Quiet last night. I went to church this morning in a big field. I am not sick anymore. The Fuller isn't back yet and nobody seems to know when it is coming back or where it is now. We have not had an air raid for three days. Something is wrong somewhere. It was too good to be true. We had an air raid today."
