Description
English: The VISSR instrument onboard the NOAA GOES-5 satellite captured this visible image of Hurricane Diana on September 11, 1984, at 22:00 UTC (6:00 EDT). At the time this image was captured, Diana was a Category 3 hurricane with maximum sustained wind speeds of 125 mph (205 km/h), and its minimum central pressure was 952 mb.
