vening gowns, and was nearlydriven distracted trying to think of some way to get more. I happened to read in Magazine one of the DIAMOND DYE adver-tisements, in which it was suggested that oldgowns could be recolored and made as goodas new by using DIAMOND DYES. I rummaged the attic and found six orseven gowns that had been discarded as worth-less. I went to the drug store on the cornerand bought a package of light blue DIAMONDDYES and also a package of cardinal red, yel-low, purple, green, and black. I dyed the ma-terials of the old gowns and remade them. Ofcourse, I found it necessary to purchase sometrimmings. As a result I have six charmingevening gowns, and have been the envy oi allmy friends, who wonder how I manage to haveso many beautiful gowns. Mrs. Francis Himman, Pittsburg, Pa.
