Description

Dia Internacional e Nacional da Síndrome de Down é celebrado por estudantes, pessoas com síndrome de Down, professores e membros de instituições, no Auditório Petrônio Portela, Senado Federal.

O Dia Internacional e Nacional da Síndrome de Down é celebrado em 21 de março. A data tem o objetivo de conscientizar e de quebrar o estigma social a respeito da síndrome. A Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU) reconhece a data desde 2012, no Brasil, o dia só passou a ser celebrado no ano passado.
