Description
Deutsch: Mahnmal Deutsche Teilung von Rolf Burchard (1965) an der Blücherstraße/Ossecker Straße in Hof (Saale). Ein kleinerer Baukörper in Form einer halben Ellipse mit einem herausgebrochenen Stück symbolisiert die Teilung Deutschlands. Ein größerer Baukörper in Form einer Parabel steht für das deutsche Volk und die angestrebte Einheit Deutschlands in den Grenzen von 1937. Inschrift: „Erbaut von den Heimatvertriebenen mit der Unterstützung der Stadt und des Landkreises Hof (Saale) im Jahre der Menschenrechte 1965.“ Enthüllt wurde das Mahnmal am 20. Jahrestag der Vertreibung durch Oberbürgermeister Hans Högn (SPD). Die Festansprache hielt Wenzel Jaksch (SPD).
