Deutsch: Sergeant der Ksl. Landespolizei von Deutsch-Südwestafrika / Unteroffizier der Kavallerie Lorenz Horn (geb. 1880 Gärtenroth bei Kulmbach - gest. 1956 in Simmelsdorf/Hüttenbach) mit Ehefrau Barbara Horn (geb. 1889 in Plech, gest. 1939 in Hüttenbach) und Kindern Hans (geb. Nov. 1911, gest. 1958) und Käthe (geb. Oktober 1909, gest. 1995). Aufnahme 1913/14 beim Wohnhaus auf dem Farmgebiet Fahlgras (Vaalgras) bei Asab, Deutsch-Südwestafrika. Lorenz Horn: 12.11.1907 Probezeit zur Landespolizei, am 23. o. 25.08.1908 als Sergeant vertraglich bei der Schutzpolizei Dt. S.W. Afrika angenommen. (Dienstzeit formal bis 30.03.1920). Zunächst Polizeistation Gelwater südlich Gibeon/westlich Asab (1908-1912), 1912 wurde die Polizeistation in das wenige Kilometer östlich gelegene Fahlgras (Vaalgras) verlegt. Ehefrau Barbara Horn (geb. Konrad) war Lorenz Horn nach dessen Heimaturlaub 1908 auf eigene Faust aus Dtl. gefolgt, Heirat 1909 in Swakopmund. Vgl. File:Kavallerie Wk I.jpg
