Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Two old and monumental Pedunculate Oaks (Quercus robur) along An Eikbarg, a street in Detershagen, district of Kröpelin, Landkreis Rostock, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. The dead oak in the foreground is a listed natural monument. The large old oak trees along the Eikbarg area host a metapopulation of the endangered Hermit Beetle (Osmoderma eremita). Due to this fact, the oaks belong to the „Westbrügger Holz“ Special Area of Conservation.
