Description
English: Detail of the triangulation Pillar, Dog Hill, Rishworth The plate, known as a flush bracket, bears the number S4490. All (but one) trig pillars have a flush bracket with a unique number. This pillar is described in detail at http://www.trigpointinguk.com/trigs/trig-details.php?t=5692 . Flush brackets can also be found on buildings such as churches and these are described in the Bench Mark Database http://www.bench-marks.org.uk . Other OS benchmarks, which do not have flush brackets, include cut marks, rivets, bolts, and pivots, and are also included in the Bench Mark Database."
