| Description |
English: Detail of font canopy, St Botolph's Church, Trunch This is a remarkable survival, one of only four in England. Rather than attempt to photograph the whole canopy in a poor light, I have concentrated on the top of one of the corner posts, with beasts' heads and a monkey with a bishop's mitre (did the bishop of the time know about this?). |
