English: Detail of NCN milepost, Capel-le-Ferne The inscription says "This is one of 1,000 mileposts funded by the Royal Bank of Scotland to mark the creation of the National Cycle Network".
Also known as Millennium mileposts, this example is on the Chalk and Channel Way - a walking and cycling path between Dover and Folkestone. The path is part of National Cycle Network Route 2, which connects towns of the south coast. |
