Description
English: View of the Bahnbetriebswerk Neustadt in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Germany, in April 1945. Neustadt was occupied by U.S. troops on 21 March 1945.
A heavily damaged DRG Class 64 passenger train tank engine is visible in the foreground. It appears to be 64 041 which was repaired and finally scrapped in 1968. The tender of DRG Class 52 52 5984 is visible on the right.
