Description
English: Insignia of the U.S. Navy Destroyer Squadron 31 (DESRON 31), in 2020.
"ke koa o ke kai" translates into "The Warriors of the Sea". The crest shows a polynesian war mask and the ocean. This represents the island homeport of Oahu, the warrior spirit and the Pacific reach of the squadron. The oared war canoe represents the squadron ships working in unison.
