Description The Chilean flagship Blanco Encalada (DLH 15) (former HMS Fife (D20)) and the submarine O'Brien (SS 22) steam off the coast of Chile during Exercise TEAMWORK SOUTH '99. O'Brien, a 1972 Oberon-class patrol submarine, was decommissioned on December 31, 2001 after serving for 25 years in the Chilean Navy. In 2008, was acquired by the Municipality of Valdivia and turned into a museum submarine. It is on display in the Museo Naval Submarino O'Brien at Yungay viewpoint, Costanera Avenue, Valdivia, Región de Los Ríos, Chile.
