Summary

[edit]
Description Desoto Lake is an oxbow lake which was once part of the Missouri River. Floods and rechannelization of the river cut a large bend out of the river, creating the lake. The lake is in DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge, located in the U.S. states of Iowa and Nebraska.
