Ohio MR 17 : for resistance to mosaic PRODUCER, w.s <£^™) Vine exceptionally prolific; fruits taper at both ends and are light in color. SNOW'S PICKLING, b.s 58 Early, prolific, and popular on the Pacific coast. Fruits deep green and blunt ended, uniform and attractive. STAYS GREEN (Black Diamond), w.s 60 Fruits symmetrical, nearly square ended; very dark green. A dual purpose variety extensively grown in the South for both pickling and slicing. WISCONSIN SR 6, b.s 56 Developed at the Wisconsin Agricultural Experiment Station from Maine No. 2 and National Association Pickling. Resistant to scab or spot rot, Cladosporium cucumerinum, and therefore of value in northern areas of Wisconsin, Michigan and cool areas of the northeast. Not resistant to cucumber mosaic. Of National Association type, with good warting and color. WISCONSIN SMR 12, b.s 56 Developed at the Wisconsin station from Wisconsin SR6 and Ohio MR20. A new variety with resistance to both scab and mosaic. Lighter in color than Wisconsin SR6, a little longer and in general resembling National Pickling. YORKSTATE, b.s 58 Developed by H. M. Munger of Cornell University. Highly resistant to mosaic, not immune. Vine large, vigorous and prolific; fruits of National Association type, but under some conditions may be more pointed at blossom end.
