Oblong centsprent met 1 dubbel omkaderde houtsnede, met een afbeelding van een opgaande en neergaande trap met op elke trede een figuur: van kind in looprek, meisje van 10, vrouw van 20 tot oude vrouw van 90. Op de voorgrond de tekst 'Trap des ouderdom', een ingebakerd kind, een dikke halfnaakte figuur, een skelet en een vrouw in doodskist. Taferelen op de zijkant van de trap betreffen begrafenissen en het laatste oordeel met daaromheen de tekst 'Bedenkt den dagh die niet ver by magh'.
