Description

St. Augustine's Church, Derry, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland

English: Three-lancet stained glass window in the chancel (W01), depicting the Good Shepherd in the upper lights, quoting Isaiah 40:11 “He shall feed his flock like a shepherd”, and the Parable of the Prodigal Son in the lower lights, quoting Psalm 116:7 “Return unto thy rest O my soul”. Dedication on a plaque below: “To the Glory of GOD and in Memory of Thomas Scott of Willsboro. Born A.D. 1783. Died A.D. 1872. This Chancel ws paved and this window erected by his Children.” Created by Usher & Kelly, London, in 1874. (See gloine.ie.)
