English: Derelict building at Corry One of the early 19th century structures which bear witness to the extensive cattle breeding and fishing interests of the tacksman/merchant and sheriff, Lachlan Mackinnon, "in the absence of Lord Macdonald, for many years the most prominent personage in the island".
This is the fishgutting and packing station, later converted to stables/ steadings and now ruinous. (Information from http://her.highland.gov.uk/home.html ) |
