English: Derelict barn below Scalehow Rigg A public footpath sign leads into fields and following one's nose (there is no sign of a worn path) leads to this derelict barn. With better signposting, walkers would perhaps realise that the path turned right some way back, but the lack of wear suggests that not enough people come this way for the owners to consider it worthwhile to deflect people. |
