Deutsch: Der Turm auf dem Großen Inselsberg diente im Richtfunknetz der SED als bemannter Retranslationspunkt mit der Kennung 09A2 auf der Richtfunkstrecke von der Bezirksrichtfunkzentrale Erfurt auf dem Ettersberg bei Weimar zur Bezirksrichtfunkzentrale Suhl auf dem Schneekopf.
