Description
Deutsch: Der Helicopter der FS Polarstern bringt Gaeste vom Schiff zur Station.
English: Helicopters from FS Polarstern shuttling guests from the ship to Neumayer Station. Later in the day, one chopper D-HANT (on the ground in this photo) was written off after a hard landing in white out conditions. The other chopper D-HLSZ (in the air in this photo) was also written off when it too hard landed in white out conditions whilst returning to the hard-landed D-HANT.
