Description
English:
Monument to the 17th meridian of east longitude by György Jancsi (1997 steel works, local grade listed). On the map, they searched for major foreign cities that were also affected, put their names on the monument, and then notified them of this invisible thread that connects them. These cities are: Gavle - Sweden, Poznan - Poland, Sumperk - Czech Republic, Malacky - Slovakia, Hainburg - Austria, Nagykanizsa - Hungary, Makarska - Croatia, Bari - Italy, Windhoek - Namibia" - Eötvös Square, Nagykanizsa, Zala County, Hungary.

(IX. 05.) önkormányzati rendelet HELYI VÉDELEM ALATT ÁLLÓ SZOBROK, EMLÉKMŰVEK jegyzékében: "SZ-29, Eötvös tér, 1939/1, 17. hosszúsági kör" A térképen megkeresték azokat a jelentősebb külföldi városokat, amelyek szintén érintettek és föltüntették a nevüket az emlékművön, majd értesítették őket erről a láthatatlan szálról, amely összeköti őket.
