He found)this idol treasured up in the bedroom, showing thereby?unusual devotion, for the idols usually hang in the sitting^room. She allowed him to take it down and was soon;healed. But she had a son eleven years old. After theihealing, one day an idol procession was passing. He joined;in and from that date the demon came on him. After a yearjor more, he too was healed. Then his sister-in-law was-afflicted. In these cases the three all manifested the samesymptoms, including, what is not so common, vomitingand purging.
