Demolition Derby at the Ohio State Fair

Description

Cars run into each other at the Ohio State Fair Demolition Derby. The contests took place August 24-26, during the August 14-30 run of the fair. There were four heats daily followed by a featured match. Seven to 10 cars would participate in each heat, which took place in an 80- by 250-foot arena. Drivers are only permitted to hit other cars in the back end. Heat winners were awarded $50 while feature winners won $200.
