Description

Rund 130 Menschen nahmen an diesem Sonntag die Pannenserie in den belgischen AKW Thiange und Doel zum Anlass, in Lingen gegen die dortige Brennelemente Fabrik zu demonstrieren. Die von der ANF (AREVA) betriebene Anlage beliefert Atomkraftwerke in aller Welt, darunter in Belgien und Frankreich. Rund 30 AktivistInnen blockierten dann am frühen Montag für ca. 5 Stunden die Anlage. Sie ließen sich weder durch ruppige unfreundliche Polizeibeamten noch durch die Kälte und den Regen von ihrem Vorhaben abhalten. Die Unkontrollierbarkeit der Radioaktivität, die sich an keine Grenzen hält, wurde mit gelben Wasserbällen, die chaotisch und fröhlich durch die Blockade hin und her geworfen wurden, bildlich dargestellt.

Die Bedeutung vom gemeinsamen Widerstand über Ländergrenzen hinaus war zuvor in der Lingener Innenstadt in Redebeiträge aus Belgien und Frankreich betont worden. ROBIN WOOD Aktivistin Cécile Lecomte berichtete über die französische Atompolitik und die aktuelle schwierige Situation für die Protestbewegung auf Grund der Notstandgesetzgebung in Frankreich (siehe auch das Dossier in der aktuellen Ausgabe der Zeitschrift Anti-Atom-Aktuell). Weitere ROBIN WOOD AktivistInnen kletterten in Bäumen um einen Banner mit der Aufschrift „Fukushima mahnt Ausstieg sofort!“ aufzuhängen.
