Philadelphia city intersection with brick streets and trolly tracks.

This 1954 photograph shows the intersection at Fourth and Chestnut Streets. The sign to the right is announcing the demolition of the Brown Brothers Building as part of the project to create Independence National Historical Park. The buildings across the street were demolished by the City of Philadelphia as part of a larger urban renewal project in the 1950s.
