| Description | F311JTY is an Alexander bodied Leyland Olympian which was new to Northumbria. This bus is now with Deluxe Sightseeing, San Francisco, California (fleet number 320) and is seen leaving Union Square after a day touring the city. This bus now has licence plate number 02319M1 and this shot clearly shows the additional door added on the right hand side. This Olympian isn't quite as tall, dark and tasty as it was in the UK; the height of the upper deck windscreen has been reduced to allow it to pass through a 14' 2" underpass and a modification to the exhaust tail pipe passes the outlet onto the left hand side changing the engine note somewhat. |
