English: This is the main entrance of the former building of the faculty of Scheikundige Technologie of Delft University of Technology (Julianalaan 136). At the moment the picture was taken, the demolishion had already started. The letters "Gebouw voor Scheikunde" (roughly translated as "Building for Chemistry") were already removed from the roof above the entrance.
Nederlands: Dit is de hoofdingang van het vroegere "Gebouw voor Scheikunde" aan Julianalaan 136 in Delft. Men noemde het ook wel "Gele Scheikunde". Tot begin 21ste eeuw was dit pand het hoofdgebouw van de opleiding Scheikundige Technologie aan de TU in Delft. Ik was te laat voor écht representatieve foto's, want men is inmiddels al bezig met slopen van het gebouw ten behoeve van woningbouw, en de letters "Gebouw voor Scheikunde" boven de hoofdingang staan er al niet meer op. |
