Description
English: Basic forms were made with the help of moulds. Then the surface decorations were finished by hand. Finally the sculpture was painted. It is from China, Xinjiang, Tumshuk (west of Kucha), folds and drapery, flowing curls and a gentle expression seem to resemble the style used around the same time in Fondukistan (now Afghanistan). 7th century, clay with colours.
