English: Air Force Lt. Col. Susan Pangelinan from the California National Guard is awarded a DOD Science, Technology, Engineering and Math award March 19 at the Women in Military Service for America Memorial, Arlington, Va., for her accomplishments as a medical adviser to the California Guard's Joint Forces Headquarters. The awards ceremony honored 10 service members who have worked toward the development of women and minorities in foreign languages and the STEM fields. It coincides with many other programs, ceremonies and activities that are observing women's history this month. |
