English: U.S. Army Lt. Col. Brian Pearl, commander of 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, talks with Kunar provincial Gov. Fazlullah Wahidi before a district shura at the Chapa Dara district center in Kunar province, Afghanistan, on Jan. 4, 2010. Pearl and Wahidi visited the Chapa Dara, Manogai and Watapur districts to meet with district sub-governors, line directors, village elders and shura members to better connect the provincial government with district governments.
