English: Navy Seaman Keith Ketterer uses his binoculars to search the horizon for any air or surface contacts while standing lookout watch aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) during flight operations in the Persian Gulf on Jan. 12, 2006. Roosevelt and its embarked Carrier Air Wing 8 are conducting maritime security operations in the Persian Gulf.
