English: A Blackhawk Helicopter of the 108th Assault Helicopter Battalion lifts off after ferrying Company A, 4th Battalion, 118th Infantry Regiment troops for the air assault portion of an embassy defense and evacuation exercise at Range 5 near Camp Buehring, Kuwait, May 27. Soldiers of the 4th Battalion's Company C conducted the same exercise three days later. During the exercise, the infantry companies also coordinated with the 108th Assault Helicopter Battalion for rapid resupply and with Company C, 1st General Support Aviation Battalion, 126th Aviation Regiment to evacuate simulated wounded. The 4th Battalion belongs the South Carolina Army National Guard, and assumed security-force operations in Northern Kuwait in April.
