Description

Deesis and votive scene

In the lower zone, left, a sail ship is depicted moored, with sails folded and the oars above water. To the back, the inscription informs us that we see the castle of Kimolos, as well as the surrounding landscape with the windmill and the stone staircase leading to the castle. On his knees and praying is the donor, Ioannis Ramfos. Behind him we can see navigation instruments.
