English: Deerness Community Centre. This modern building replaced the old Parish Hall - which consisted of a WW1 and WW2 wooden hut joined together and clad with galvanised corrugated sheet - in 1999/2000 and is very much the centre of the Parish's social life. It has facilities for sports, am-dram productions, meetings, fundraisers and entertainment. |
