Description
Centsprent met 2 x 1 houtsnede, met afbeeldingen uit het verhaal van de man met de bontemuts, een geschiedenis van Duitse oorsprong, waarin de erfgenamen van een oud kasteel in een onderaardse gang een man met een bontmuts op het hoofd aantreffen, die, achter een tafel gezeten, dreigt met een knuppel. Het blijkt echter dat het een houten pop is, die in beweging gebracht wordt door het trappen op de treden die naar het onderaardse verblijf leiden. Op de bovenste afbeelding is te zien hoe de man met bontmuts met de knuppel om zich heen slaat. Op de onderste afbeelding blijkt dat het een mechanische pop is. Op beide afbeeldingen hang een document aan de muur met de woorden 'Anno Raderna' dwz. raad het jaar. Met tweeregelige rijmende onderschriften.
