FIGUER XXXVIII.
DE 38. Figuer vertoont ons de bruyloft van Perfeus en Andromeda, alwaar
tuffchen die van Perfeus, en de vrienden
van fijn Mede-minnnar ^ die door hem ge-
doot was , een groot gefchil ontftont ,
vaar door wederom veel bloet geftort
wiert , doch het wiert haefl door Perfeus
geftuyt, dewijl hy het fchilt daar het hooft
van Medufa in flont, nemende, het fel-
\we van fulck een kraght bevondt, dat alle
die het aanfagen in fteen veranderde en
voor doot flonden: en het geen ons te ken-
nen wil geven, dat den Koning van
Enge-
landt ^ felfs wanneer hy
fal meenen rufte in
fijn drie Rijcken te hebben, dat hy als dan
noch fijn heymelijcke en openbaerc Vyan-
den fal vinden, doch dat hy door fijn voor-
fichiigheyt, en dapperheyt de felve over-
winnen en t'onderbrengen fal.
