Plaat 15. BATIK VAN MADOERA.Patroon: okël. (Zie blz. 228 en 229.) Uit groote, rozetvormige ornamenten ontspringen ranken. Daartusschen groote, dubbele larsmet staartvormige uitwassen bij de verbinding (sawat-kenteekenen) en kapelfiguren. 4. Loeng oeris latar iréng. O er is = de naam van een slingerplant, ook: fijn, klein. Dunne ranken met spitse, smalle blaadjes aan weerszijden. Hier en daar enkele lars (mirong- kenteekenen) en dubbele lars met staarten (sawat-kenteekenen). 5. Loeng përnis latar iréng. Loeng përnis = een bloem, gemaakt naar eigen fantaisie. Bochtige ranken met driebladige bloemen aan de toppen. Overige ruimte opgevuld met enkele lars (mirong-kenteekenen), vogelfiguren, rozetten en andere gefantaiseerde voorwerpen.
