Trouwens, over het algemeen is de beteekenis van de cochenielje-teelt in onzentijd belangrijk verminderd, tengevolge van de concurrentie der teer-kleurstoffen, die het ge-bruik van karmijn gaandeweg grootendeels verdrongen hebben.De prijs van blëndok trémbalo is/ 120—ƒ 150 per pikoel.
